En este trabajo, presento una selección no exhaustiva de fotografías que tuve la oportunidad sacar con ocasión de este día tan especial en México, lo cual no es folklor sino una manifestación religiosa que combina elementos prehispánicos con el catolicismo romano y numerosos procesos sincréticos propios a cada región de la República Mexicana.
In this work, I present a non-exhaustive selection of photographs that I had the opportunity to take on the occasion of this special day in Mexico, which is not folklore but rather a religious manifestation that combines pre-Hispanic elements with Roman Catholicism and numerous syncretic processes typical of each region of the Mexican Republic.

En octubre de 2017, con ocasión del I CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE ENFOQUE INTERCUTURAL EN POLÍTICA PÚBLICA Y IV COLOQUIO DE INTERCULTURALIDAD
fui invitado a dictar la conferencia magistral. Los estudiantes de la Escuela de Arte de la Universidad Intercultural del Estado de México, San Felipe del Progreso, Edomex, mayoritariamente mazahuas, realizaron un tzompantli con máscaras y calacas. Aquí dejo una pequeña muestra.
In October 2017, on the occasion of the I INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON INTERCUTURAL APPROACH IN PUBLIC POLICY AND IV COLLOQUIUM ON INTERCULTURALITYI was invited to give the keynote address. The students of the School of Art of the Intercultural University of the State of Mexico, San Felipe del Progreso, Edomex, mostly Mazahuas, performed a tzompantli with masks and skulls. Here I leave a small sample.
